Danbury now make the Doubleback and they've made some changes, very clever but still lacking something - especially what looks like a paste table!

Mmmm - fascinating but I'm not convinced. Of all the larger independent conversions I think the Bilbos is my favourite, although they supplied our Cali and I'm still taking their multiple bits of advertising off the vehicle ;-)

The original one was a great concept but this one (Danbury) looks like it was put together in my shed. Lots of el cheapo carpet trimming and plywood with b&q kitchen door handles etc.

And that table..... Really. £53k?

Give me a Cali anyday. There didn't seem to be any advantage to the extra room other than an oven.

I'll keep going with my Cali and BBQ......

Not keen on it - basic Transporter to keep the price down doesn't bode well. In my view there is going to be a point where that goes wrong - that will make roof issues with the Cali look like a walk in the park.

I don't like cleverness for clevers sake - feels a bit like that.
