Drive away tent

Has anyone managed to fit a drive-away tent onto their Cali that has an awning fitted to it ? I heard it can be done, so just want a little advise .

Very easily done. the rail is just inside the front edge of the roll out.

No worries. I looked specially for the channel as our previous coach-built MH had a Fiamma awning, and the channel on those is obvious on the outside of the cassette.

So the Cali one is a bit of a pain in that you have to wind the roll out a bit to get at at it.

BTW I can only speak for the current Cali's awning as I have no experience of any of the older ones.
