I’m a new Cali owner and a friend who used to own one said that when I hook up to mains supply I need to ‘flick the switch’ in rear cupboard to transfer from leisure battery to mains, is this right?
Regards.

If the circuit breaker is off you will not have 220 v coming in .....there's no reason to switch it off .

No.
There is a RCB , residual current circuit breaker, in the rear wardrobe above the gas container, designed to switch off the Mains current within the vehicle if there is a fault. A Red Mark shows the switch ON and Green the Switch is OFF.

All in the California Supplimentary Handbook.

In short, you don’t need to do anything unless the mains switch has tripped in the wardrobe. The switch will normally be up I.e. on.

Not got handbook but one on the way. Should there be some indication on the display panel when successfully connected to mains?
