Engine and battery covers - am I just getting old?

Help!

I could have sworn that my 2020 t6.1 had a neat-and-tidy engine bay with battery and engine covers. It doesn't, so either the garage has lost them, or I'm getting old and bewildered and confusing with my old t5. Or some other car.

Would they have been fitted from factory?

Only the 204 engine has a cover. VW cheaped out for the 150.

It should have the reflective battery covers on the sides. Designed to keep engine heat away from the AGM battery. A jacket round the battery also.

Engine cover Can be bought OEM £114 (Vee Dub Transporters) or as a pattern part (without the VW logo) Ebay etc about. £40 (make sure you get the mounting kit included in the price)
