Engine is not getting warm.

Lately me engine seems to have troubles getting warm. It goes to a little over 70 but falls quickly to below 70 if i goes with high gear and low revs. (Around 1900 rpm)

My guess is that a thermostat may be broken or something similar - other guesses before the garage ?

(The car seems ok to drive, doesn't feel cold)

Engine is 2.5 174HP

Hi Ulrik,

The engine should get to and stay at 90ºC (mid scale) in all conditions. I agree, it sounds like you need a new thermostat.
