Engine management light

Driving down through France today and the engine management light came on a couple of times. Each time it went into limp mode.

1st time I turned it off and on again and it fixed itself, but only for 10 miles.

2nd time I unplugged and replugged every electrical connector I could get my hands on.

I have done 150 miles since and no more issues.

I haven't got my diag cable with me. Anyone got any tips on what to do if it happens again?

I don't fancy discussing a tempromental issue with my dodgy french.

It has happened once before, but that time a hose had come undone and that was an obvious fix

On the plus side it is 20 degrees and not stormy

Just phone VW assistance and they'll send someone out. Make sure you tell them its in limp mode.

I will give them a call when my turn it off and on again fix stops working Hopefully it was just a lose connection.
