Euro Hook up problems- 07 California 174

Am going to France this summer and have heard that some German vans have hook up problems caused by the PSU fitted to the battery(Schaudt Electroblock) these are apparently very sensitive to voltage spikes( cause's 12v system to stop working) - has anyone heard of this problem with the California??? has anyone been to France and had any problems or not???

Hi & welcome to the forum, we regularly travel through France and have never had any problems with the Cali on hook up, one thing you will need is a Polarity Tester as there are still quite a few sites on the Continent on reverse polarity

Might be best to make up a small mains cable but reversed

Have a 2pin adaptor cable on order - will re-wire it prior to trip. Thanks for reply.
