Pretty new Cali owner and will be going on a few UK trips and looking forward to the learning curve. In the future we’re hoping to travel abroad.
In a nut shell, is there a section on this forum dedicated to travelling around Europe, as in understanding the legal requirements ( documents etc ) restrictions and any other advice that would be useful. If not any ideas as to where.

Try the search feature at the top of the page, just search for Europe , travel of any country you fancy going too. Lots of trips you will find helpful. Enjoy your trip and planning for it. for example you will get: https://vwcaliforniaclub.com/search/519592/?q=Europe,+travel,+france&o=relevance

Another option is to search in forums

Like in the UK there is continually changing Emission Zone restrictions being implemented. You need to pre register in most Countries.
After deciding which countries you will visit check out the latest requirements.

Try this site, it is very authoratative on all things related to EU emissions regs etc.
EU Regulations

Thatleisureshop has advice on Europe as well as a list of what’s needed.
I got a critair sticker and the German one too. The German one can also be used in Spain. If you get the German one from the Berlin office it is only €6_95

Europe - a few suggestions to start you dreaming and planning: Buy a Michelin paper map of Europe, pin it up and play, or take it to the pub; explore any number of on-line camping guides e.g.Park4Night; consider joining ACSI - based in the Netherlands and a reliable guide to camp sites; have a look, on-line, at 'Vicarious Books', based in Folkestone. To cross the Channel use LeShuttle and to cross the Alps buy a Swiss annual road tax, which, at 40CHF in 2024, is cheaper than the combined road and tunnel tolls of other countries. Other contributors will also have routes and suggestions. Once you start ... it's almost never ending. And that's just the dreaming and planning. Enjoy.
