EV Camper

no, as no electric cooker

I have a model 3. There is an aftermarket mattress which fits in the back in the same way and a cheaper inflatable option. It has all of the ingredients to be able to sleep in comfort ie climate control on all the time, Tesla camp mode (search on YouTube) and all looks great, but I’ve never used it because it’s not a camper.

If I was ever stuck in heavy snow on the m6, it would be very comfortable but still couldn’t make a brew!!

Was the Austin Maxi not a sleeper also. Lots of modern estates used by some for overnighters but dreadful compared to a proper campervan.

Hmm... having slept in the back of my old Land Rover Discovery many (many) years ago.... and seeing the state of various friends over the years who have slept in cars of varying size... I'd say the 3 best ways to have an EV Camper would be:

  1. T6.1 with ABT Electric conversion.
  2. Wait for an ID Buzz (if one ever arrives)
  3. Have something like this built for the back of Tesla...

:D

I was reading about roof tents - the weight your roofbars state is the weight when being driven; the manufacturer claims stationary weight makes it fine for use

:D
Look like a Spatan Star craft kit car built on a Cortina chassis

There are a lot of possibilities:
