Fitting a safe in the Beach.....any ideas?

We`re heading down south to Rye later next week for a week before crossing to France and on to wherever the road takes us for a month or so.
As we`ll have our passports, documents and money etc. with us, we don`t really want to be carrying everything around with us all the time, so we`re looking for ideas for security. (Don`t think a locked glovebox is the most secure place).
Has anyone fitted a small safe or the likes into their Beach? Ours is the 2 seat bench version, so we have the storage box.
Has anyone tried fitting one under a seat or the bench drawer?

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Wondering if anyone has found a different solution for this? Maybe inside the side storage bench? My husband often has to travel with his computer due to the nature of his work and it would be good to have a safe that is big enough to lock this up.
