VW California Beach seating and bed options

I like the width of the the lower three seater bed. Me and Ms Kave slept one night upstair which was noticable much narrower. When I moved arround I often woke her up. Downstairs in the three seater bed we have plenty of room to move arround.

I might have misunderstood this, but surely both Beach variants have the same bed width downstairs?

We use two Duvalays downstairs straight onto the seat/box & it's better and wider than being at home!

The two seat bench is very versatile indeed, makes much more sense than the three seater if you don't need three seats for people. The storage pod is very large inside but easily removable indeed with the two clamps undone - easier than getting the Multiflex board out.

The MF board itself is a *real* pain not hinging and very overbuilt, we replaced it with our front and back opening one and it then becomes superbly useful - every morning my wife would slide the seat forward lift up the rear MF hinged part and get the kids and her clothes out.

The kids are stored under the Multiflex board :Nailbiting

I quite like the idea of stowing the kids under the MF board during the night - good idea
