Hi. I want to fit a small camera to the awning rail on the left side of our T6 ocean. It looks as if I could slide in a fitting with a square head so that a threaded bolt sticks out that I could fit to.
I had a look at the photos of the thermal roof cover/topper. This appears to have four such fittings.
Has anyone any idea where I could buy these fittings (or maybe make one)?

Comfortz will have the sliding awning rail bits, should be able to adapt one quite easily.

I would concider making a bracket for the camera using at least two screws to fix it in the rail...

I think I may have found a solution today. I found a M6 coach bolt in the shed.
Coach bolts have a square bit under the head. The head slides nicely into the rail and the square bit fits into the slot preventing the head from turning. All I need now is a nylon washer and a plastic knob with M6 nut embedded. I think these may be available from RS Components.
I will, as suggested, need to make up some form of aluminium bracket. If it's successful, I will post some photos. :)

I should still think the ones in the club shop are "whole in one item "and the cheapest ...
Good support inside the rail , a plastic wascher , and a handscrew all in one order.
