Floriade Expo 22 in Almere NL

Mrs TT still wanted to see the Tulips in Keukenhof after our planned visit in April 2020 was cancelled, so have just booked the ferry from Harwich for 9 days next April at an amazingly reasonable £128 with CAMC.

My friend tells me it’s the year for the Floriade expo in Almere: has anyone been and is it worthwhile?

We went to Keukenhof in May 2019. We very much enjoyed our time there. If you like flowers (And I think Mrs TT dose) in abundance you will like this place, if you like Tulips and all their varieties, you will LOVE this place. As for Floriade we haven't been but heard great reviews. Its a once every ten year spectacle not to be missed by avid horticulturists. I'm guessing it will be pretty busy though as it is on a ten year cycle. Visiting time choice could be important to avoid crowds. If it were us and we were nearby we would definitely go for it.
