Hi all,
(searched site but can't find).
Am about to source a replacement Fresh Water Sensor (previous one totally gone).
Are there any 'be careful' when re connecting to the electrics ?
Assume its a case of :-
Engine off
Replace sensor into tank, tighten up
Plug new sensor back into the fitting.
Turn engine back on, sensor works & stops flashing on control panel.

Appreciate if anyone can help me out here please.

Many thanks

No need to worry about engine/ignition as it has nothing to do with it.
I would switch off Control Panel L lower button. Unplug sensor, replace, plug in new sensor. Switch on Control Panel.
At the most you may need to delete Error code on Control Panel

Check Control Panel Diagnostics.

Control Panel Off and wait 30 secs

Control Panel On

Press and Hold R lower button and then press Control Knob for 5 secs.

New Hidden Menu . Scroll to VW Diagnostics.

If there are any codes shown, take note and then Reset/Clear.

Return to Main Menu.

Switch Off Control Panel using L lower button. Wait 30 secs and Switch On.

Thanks.
Meant to state its a T5 2007 SE.......if that makes any difference.

Just a big THANK YOU @WelshGas ......new sensor arrived today and fitted.
Worked straight off the bat, and showing levels, very happy.

Thanks for your assistance.
