My GC600 fridge runs a bit warm, freezer box +2C, bottom of the fridge 10C. The temperature control seems to work, as it keeps the temperature reasonably stable. It runs for few minutes every about 40minutes as I would expect.

However, after 2 weeks of testing and logging temperatures and battery voltage, it looks that the setting ranging from 1 to 5 makes no difference to how cold it is, nor do the sleep or boost modes. A looks a bit like as if it is stuck in sleep mode. It used to work ok before.

This GV has the solar panel, and the voltage is all the time more than 12.3V. No error codes or anything like that.

Any hints and experiences would be welcomed.

Its not working as it should as those temperatures are too high to be useful. Ours cycles on/off for a couple of minutes every 15 minutes so your 40 minute cycle sounds wrong. Perhaps a faulty thermistor. If its still under warranty get VW to sort. If out of warranty and no other hints/ideas the thermistor is a low cost part so worth a try RND 155MF52A1 502F3950 - Thermistor NTC 5kOhm 3950K 2.5mm, RND
