Hi all

I have done a search and not got to far so sorry to ask. looking for a fridge dont want a freezer must be 12v and would like it in the boot off a 3 seater bench beach. would like it to cut in and out went it gets ti temp what do people use ?

Dometic CFX 35 for me too. Not the cheapest but it’s quiet, well built and doesn’t sap your battery like some.

It can be a freezer if you turn it right down, but we use as a fridge. It has one compartment so you just select the temp that you want.

The good thing is that you can still select the temperature when running off 12v; Some cheaper Fridges only allow to select the exact temp when running off mains 240v, and then act more as a coolbox when running off 12v so don’t allow you to select the temp.

I suppose they do as I could order from Switzerland and I paid the swiss VAT and import tax.

dometic is really nice but I couldnt justify the cost. I use a

Mobicool MCF32​
