Where is the fuse (and what size) for the 12v socket on the top of the dashboard?

Second Q, is there a diagram of all fuses anywhere?

Fuse placings vary a lot on California's so it will be hit and miss as to where your fuse are placed. As a general rule anything in front of the b pillar is in the fuse box by the gear stick, and anything else is under the passenger seat. A lot of trial and error I think will be needed.

VW van centre told me it would be a 10amp in the set under the front cup holder. Checked all the 10 amps posting.php?mode=edit&f=21&p=66609#
