My battery is as flat as witches tit.
The cold weather has finished it off, it´s been -15 so i don´t blame it.

It was starting on the last krank of the engine.
The problem is that the side lights don´t work but at the rear i have the
fog light on although dimmer than real fogs.
When i put the main beam on, they work but the rear are still on dimmer fog
lights.
Fog lights work as do all the indicators.

Could this be due to the battery being knackered or is it them Gremlins.

Or could it be a simple fuse or relay, if so are the fuses in the engine bay ?

New battery going on tomorrow.

I had a Renault Scenic that suddenly had all sorts of errors and electrical faults. The battery had lost a cell and the voltages were all over the place. New battery and everything worked OK. So I would get the new battery installed first and then fault find after that. Just my view thought.

Sound like a classic earth fault but, as Ian suggests m, replace the battery first.

Sorted.
New battery on.
The front sidelights had both gone at the same time. ????
So replaced those and the rear ones are all good.
