GC 600 rear sear removal / loosen up for recover in leather

Afternoon all, I’m planning to get my GC 600 seats recovered in leather. Has anybody had this done , if so how did you remove / loosen off the back seat ( back rest ) ?

We had ours retrimed, and they couldn't remove the seat. They said the frame (including the heater enclosure) was bolted to the underside the vehicle, and it was too much work to remove it.
They added a zip to the cover (I can't see where) and recovered in-situ. It's been a while now, and I'm still very happy with the job. If you search, you'll find my thread..
