Here's a heads-up. I began to struggle with gear selection. Long story short, I discovered a bush was missing from the gear linkage.
Very common fault apparently. Well worth picking a spare up from the dealer (£5) and pop it in the glove box.
They take five minutes to fit but will save a trip home on the back of a truck. Simply remove one of the bolts (10mm), swivel the housing out of the way, slip the new bush on the spiggot and replace.
