Thinking of going to the Davis Cup at Emirates Arena in Glasgow in September. Can anyone recommend a site to stay at from where we could either cycle or get public transport to the Emirates Arena?

Last time around in Glasgow, stayed at the Red Deer Village holiday park. Nice place. 10 minutes walk to the Stepps station and another 15-20 minutes into Queen Street.

thetrainline.com shows me the below. Could be a good option.


Dalmarnock to the stadium is a 15 min walk ... or you could take your cycles on the train and the trip either side will become easy and convenient.

The Strathclyde country park caravan club site is a good site, but public transport options from there are limited.
