I never had that Google Ads problem in the past. But here I go now. The site is being made if not unusable, certainly really painful to use by gigantic animated banner ads that cover up the site and the forum navigation bar. And the ads are total junk - not even ads for Cali accessories or anything relevant to Californias.

I don’t mind the normal banner ads that are inserted into the content. These are perfectly fine. But not these monstrosities.

I have been getting them sporadically over the past couple of days and I agree that it severely interferes with use of the forum / app.
I really don’t expect this as a paying member.

Besides not wanting ads while on the VWcaliforniaclub-website, you may not ever want them. You could consider a free adblocking browser extension like 'Ghostery'. It blocks adds but also trackers and other nasty things that try and profile you and collect your data. It's free and easy.
