We've just spent almost a week touring the Yorkshire Dales, driving up from Derbyshire via the M1 and W Yorkshire and coming back down the M6 and through Cheshire. We thought we'd see several Calis, but the likely ones all turned out to be Transporter conversions - and one new Caravelle. It seems Calis are rare! But we did eventually see one - a grey Yorkshire 11-reg with a bike rack parked outside a house in Ingleton. We stopped to confirm the name "California' on the back.
While driving around the Dales we briefly followed a beat-up T5 with a rainbow-coloured transfer on the back saying "California" - assume it was a joke, or did the very first Cali's have transfers like that?
