Has anybody washed the comfort mattress cover?

I have just removed the cover from the comfort mattress and taken out the three parts of the mattress itself. I was looking for the washing instructions and of course, they were sewn into the last section I looked in ! It says hand wash .. and before I do something I might later regret .. just wondering … has anyone washed the cover in the washing machine?? On a hand wash setting???

How did you get on?

We are just about to wash ours. We are going to use Synthetic, ie 30C. It is 100 polyester so it should be fine.

My wife has washed ours in the machine a number of times. No issues at all.
