Head rest removal

Hi,

Any ideas how to remove the head rests from the front seats of an early T4? I get to the point where they are fully extended, then they stick.

I have no buttons or anything to push to release them.

Sorted.

I had different mechanisms on each seat...

On the passenger side, there was a clip stopping the headrest from being removed. But only on one leg... Easily removed by pushing with a large flat headed screwdriver. Then a brute force attack was required :!:

On the driver side, this had plastic tabs which are supposed to be pushed to release the headrest. Mine had seized, so I removed them. I then had to lever the headrest out using a screwdriver and a pair of pliers as a pivot point.
