Hi everyone ,
I'm looking for advice on up grading my 2021 grand California standard head light bulbs to LEDs
A bit nervous about canbus faults .

The Philips bulbs are very good, looks like they also do an adapter to overcome canbus faults.

Philips Retrofit LED bulbs are not currently legal in the UK (but legal in other European countries), don’t produce any glare and will enable you to see where you are going at night….especially when confronted by newer cars with cheaper super blindig (non matrix) LED headlight units.

But we warned if fitted you might be hunted down by the authorities, similar to an episode of the A-Team. So best spray your van black and put some red stripes on the side.

Thank you People ,I'll take the internet to bed and strap in ! , also I've looked in to having the van wrapped in A team colours !

I've fitted these ones my self on my Cali t 6.1 as a replacement for the standard H7 bulbs, and they work very well. The light you get is as different as night and day:
They might be good but illegal for road use.

Headlight replacement is a bit to expensive at the moment , still hopeful of a led bulb alternative , that doesn’t throw up any faults thanks for your replies

Not LED but I use Osram Night breakers 220, much better than the standard halogen and legal ...

These look like a great solution to stick with the original halogen headlamps. The standard bulbs are really dim compared with our other cars.
Do you know which product code to order? Mine is a 2016 T6 Cali Ocean

I have a 18reg T6 Ocean and have just fitted H7 osram nightbreaker +150 laser and W5W cool blue intense for the sidelights.
I had to remove the battery to get the sidelight bulb out, you would need fingers like ET to remove it

Sorry no as mines a T5.1 not a T6 but should be easy to find your bulb size online or ask the forum. From above posts it looks like the H7 bulb.

Ok, the Osram Nightbreaker 220 H7 bulbs are fitted.
WOW What a difference. they are so much brighter halogens than the standard bulbs and transforms the vision at night on dip beam. These are fully legal standard fit H7 bulbs for road use and should be standard fit on all T6 vans pre LED.
Fiddly to fit, I managed to replace both without needing to move the battery or the filter housing thanks to a well lit garage and a spare hour while my wife was at Yoga.
Thanks for the recommendation! Night driving transformed all for less than £30

Glad you like them, its been stated that as they have such a high output their lifetime may be shorter than the standard halogen bulb so may be worth carrying a spare pair on longer trips.
