Welcome. I've got a DSG 150 Ocean like you which I love, but (need to whisper on this forum) prefer driving my other car, my eGolf. Horses for courses though. I've always thought a camper van and an electric car are the perfect combination, if you can afford it.
I'm in Kendal. Looks like from your post code that you aren't far away. (I'm not a crime expert and I know we're pretty safe up her but I don't think I'd put my post code on a public forum - not really sure why, but seems a bit of an unnecessary risk?)
