Hello Everyone!

Here is Miguel, currently living in Rijeka - Croatia.
I am the proud owner since yesterday of a T5 California Comfortline 2.5l TDI 4Motion with rear differential lock from 2005 with just 115 000 km.

I have been looking for one for a long time to try to make an off-road mode.

Welcome and congratulations on buying a really nice van. It looks in very good state, judging from the photos. I have always loved the yellowish interior. I'm sure you are used to it by now, but man, it'd be great to travel Croatia in the California! When Covid finally 'disappears' we'll surely come to Croatia!

As Thomas says, we'd love to tour south east Europe too - need a new passport though (aaargh).

Became a member today as we are due to collect our VW California Coast in Cherry red In a few weeks she is on a transported somewhere at the moment. The granddaughters have named her PAT after Postman Pat. We have had a conversion for 3 1/2 years but deep down always wanted a California with the resale being so good on our old van we decided to go for it.

Off road mode you say? let the modifications begin ...
- Seikel raised air intake
- Seikel lift kit
- Seikel underbody protection
- Seikel breather tubes - if you plan on any fording.
- BFG's

... and you are ready for apocalypse!
