Hi - Cali just ordered

Hi,

After considering buying a California for some time we bit the bullet this morning and will be taking delivery of a nicely spec'd new 4Motion DSG in a few weeks time.

We have a 1964 split-screen camper, so know what we're getting into (but with added speed, refinement, and reliability!), but are looking forward to the T5 opening up European touring & long weekend trips further afield from us (and being able to sleep 3 in comfort without an awning), and leaving the old timer for days out & VW shows closer to home...

We've numerous questions such as what the canberra wheels our Cali has been built with look like(!), and what the best bluetooth carkit solution is to ask in the forums.

We too have just ordered our 180 SE DSG as an ex demonstartor and 60 miles on the clock. Only disappointment was that after agreeing purchase I realised the on board SatNav was the cheaper version apparently (according to the brochure) only available on the beach.

Dealer would not compensate, but feel I have agood deal so all systems go for delivery Thursday 5th April, 2 days before the daughters wedding!!

First motorhome experience, but ready for it all as ex campers. Love the website, everyone seems to really enjoy these vehicles whereas most of our friends think we have lost our marbles.
