Five years considering,
One year discussing,
Six months lurking on this and other websites,
I week hire of a Cali from Oli at BMVS ( A Great business and an extremelly helpful staff),
A test drive of Oli's 4Motion DSG,
Several emails and phone chats with Oli to polish up the spec,
A few more quotes and phone calls here and there.
End result: Confirmed build week 34 for a Reflex Silver 180PS 4motion Manual with all sorts of bits and pieces to make our travels more enjoyable.
Oli at BMVS went well beyond what would be considered good customer relations in his help to us with both information and quoting for a vehicle but it was our location in the Isle of Man and the logistics involved that eventually resulting in us purchasing from Guy Vincent at the Preston Van Centre.
We now get to the stage of accessories and the obvious ones crop up like Mutze and Zonesleep toppers with Silverscreen there as well. Our experience at sea and in small boats has shown that it is often the small items that make a big difference so the Vacuvin is going on the list straight away. Next up on the search list is a frying pan with folding handle and lid...
The forum has been a font of knowledge and the experience shared by the membership has been informative and entertaining in equal measure and hopefully in the future will get the oportunity to put faces to some of the names.
