Simon
It's on our todo list. I was worried about those small midges getting through the fly screens, might not be a problem at this time of year. I'm sure you have done your homework though. There are a lot of threads about it on here.
Hope you report back after your adventure.
Have fun.
Phil

Welcome! We did the NC500 last year, planned a few bits but winged the rest. Scotland really is an awesome place with so much to see, you could do the NC500 several times over and see something new and exciting every time. The midges certainly do get through the canvas vents and fly screens, so be prepared for that… avoid camping near grass banks and water when on the west coast and you’ll be fine. Enjoy! :thumb Make sure to share some pics…

We've had our Cali Ocean for nearly a year now and done some great trips but we're taking on th NC500 in a couple of weeks so really excited and a bit nervous about that! We're from Ystradgynlais near Swansea. Simon and Catherine.
We’re about the same, had our Cali for 14 months now, clocked up 10,000 miles of campervan adventures, and about to do roughly 2/3rds of the NC500 and taking some tips from the ‘Slow Road‘ book. We’re really looking forward to it.

btw - you have your postcode showing in your avatar - not sure if you intended this.
