Hi. I have an Ocean on order. It is due to arrive in the next 2 weeks. I've been lurking on the forum for a while picking up tips as I'm new to this. Thanks to all the knowledgeable contributors helping us newbies to avoid some of the pitfalls.

Don't make the mistake I made the first morning on the first camping: leaving the blankets and pillow on top and close the roof.
I didn't notice. It was until I looked back at my van that I saw something was wrong with the roof. The back was all lifted up, and one side on the front was not closed as it should have been.

All what happened, was a little black plastic thingy on the scissors that was broken. I opened the roof, got down the blankets and closed the roof again: everything looked ok then.
Never leave anything but the pyjama's on the top bed if you close the roof!!!

All the rest is pure logic.
