To all of the people (including us) who are awaiting delivery of their vans, I hope they will be registered before April 1st.
The yearly road fund licence on the 150 model will be increased from £500 to £800 for the next 6 years when it is supposed to revert back to a lower level.
The rate for the 204 model is even more eye-watering.
It's not long until April and nothing is moving yet.
I don't see why we should be penalised because of this delay.

The yearly road fund licence on the 150 model will be increased from £500 to £800 for the next 6 years when it is supposed to revert back to a lower level.

It is only the first year rate that might be increased, and that will only happen if the engines don't meet the new 'Real World' emissions tests. Worst case is that you have to pay an extra £300 for a 150 and £400 for a 204.

Mccp is right, but VW have already confirmed that they will cover this if the vans are delayed past 1st April.

I had a specific discussion with my case manager about it.
