Today I used Hometyre to fit a new tyre to our Cali, on our driveway. I was really impressed by the service and thought I would leave a positive review here for others’ benefit.
I only booked the mobile tyre fitting on Monday night (c36 hours prior to appointment). The fitter who attended was really friendly and super helpful. He arrived 15 mins early, worked carefully and didn’t rush the job.
What I was most impressed by is that the fitter took real care when removing the wheel and tyre. Hometyre apparently always use rim protectors and their machines are fitted with plastic tipped ‘edges’ (I forgot the technical term he used) to avoid any damage to the alloy. The fitter was also happy to apply some ceramic grease to the hub spigot when I mentioned it:
