How did the Caliclub saved you money? :-D

I bought a rather old T5 with more 230.000 km 2 years ago, so i have had a problem once in a while. But I must say, this forum saved me from several expensive trips to the garage!!

Problems solved thanks to the caliclub:
- The table was stuck in the side door-> solved
- The button for the camper controls was broken -> solved with a very cheap button.
- The roof leaked -> solved by cleaning the drain
- Had a problem with a seatbelt -> solved
- Now, thanks to the forum i made and installed a drawer in the back



Just wanted to say thank you to this wonderfull bunch of travellers who helped me with all these wonderfull threads!

Great stuff , but i think some for of us beeing on the the forum is costing us a lot of money ....
seeing everyone buying goodies and things and then buying them also

Then again buying in the clupshop @CampervanBits as VIP member having a discount helps.

Serious now , yes the knowledge on here is very valuable and can save you money and headaches.

We saved £765 through the instructions we followed yesterday replacing the knob on the control panel!

Saved approx £170 from the club shop over the years and about £50 via various insurance discounts. Also saved a fortune on advice about the earth shunt fix on my old T5
