You know, that tiny one... so small that nothing fits in it, and everything falls out ;).

I'm sharing my next project with you - click this link (it will take you to the portal with 3D prints)
https://makerworld.com/pl/models/22...an-mirror-shelf-extra-large#profileId-2399524
a new shelf/container. It fits perfectly into the original mount, but...

It's much larger and now has an insert that will keep your toothbrushes, toothpaste, and whatever else you dream of in place.
As always feel free to 3D print it and use (non commercial license) check my all Cali projects and give me thumbs up / like or even boost if you can on makerworld.

On the face of it, this is brilliant...if one has a 3D printer. :headbang
Is it possible to get 3D prints on the High Street?

  • You can print it for you in a printing service company - lots of local services for sure you can find close to your location
  • You are not allowed to print more and sell
  • 3D print service company cannot sell it as their product - if they want they should ask me for the license.

Hi @Robert-ert
Thanks for that. I have no knowledge nor understanding of 3D printing and thought until now that it was a hobby-type pastime, but a quick web search suggests that there are local outlets that will print one-offs. I honestly had no idea.

Is this effective ?
We keep assorted bedding all the year round in packed tight in Amazon packing cubes in that ‘wardrobe’ and monitor the blue to pink status indicator on the Pingi: from time to time taking it out and leaving in over night in our AGA simmering oven (if you know those) as we have no microwave.

To be honest I could not say with certainty what difference it makes, but I do know our ‘wardrobe’ contents are always airing cupboard dry, all year round. Perhaps a little belt and braces, but I had been puzzling what this little shelf could be used for when I saw a post about the Pingi a couple of years ago and they seemed made for each other.

Others in the forum have spoken well of the Pingi as a windscreen area dehumidifier when overnighting.

I keep two very similar dehumidifiers (Hillington) on the dashboard all winter. A short microwave every 10 days or so recharges them.
I assume a Pingi will be just as good.
