Import from Germany to Netherlands

Hello, I have been reading threads and articles online and starting to explore an upgrade and wondering about going down the import route. Does any one have experience on importing to NL and the financial benefit it resulted in? I hear i need to buy a van around 18 months old to get the best tax advantage....Additionally has anyone come across a friendly and truster dealer in Germany. Any tips on where to start this process would be great. Many Thanks

Usually the advantage was re-importing from NL or Belgium into Germany, for new vehicles.
I don't know how you could save more importing into NL for a used vehicle...
