Inside table leg broken

The leg on our inside dining table (Grand cali 680) took a bash last week and the hinge pin has broken out of the plastic part of said hinge. Has anyone experienced similar?..has anyone found a replacement table support leg with a good strong hinge??

By the way contacted VW this morning...Leg cannot be supplied separately so a replacement table needed. Cost: an almost unbelievable £320 inc VAT!!!
Guess this is what comes of buying a camper van from a motor manufacturer...sigh

Hello, I experienced the same thing after a month of using the car. When complaining to the dealer, the answer was that this defect is not covered by the warranty, and the price for a new table was exorbitant. Thus, I had to redesign and execute another hinge for the table. This will surely not break again!

Wow....not sure my metal work skills are up to this. I've bought a much stronger leg from eBay for £34.

so after much messing about I have fixed the leg with 3 cable ties (after drilling some holes) and some packing made from hose pipe. Seems pretty secure. If anyone interested I can post some photos.
