Insurance Group?

Hi All,

Chatting to a friend about a California and he asked what insurance group is it.

I've had a bit of a Google and cannot find the information anywhere. Even Parker's doesn't have it listed.

Anyone know?

What I did find funny was that the dealer also didn't know so asked me !

As far as the Ocean goes it's considered a specialist vehicle. So I don't think normal insurance group ratings apply. Each insurer takes their own view. Insurance cost depend upon mileage and whether it will be used as a primary vehcle.

Not sure about the Beach though. It seems to be considered more as a people carrier by some insurers so may have an insurance group.

I find this insurance group rating pointless.
You can't ring up an insurance company and give your personal details and then say "quote me for an insurance group 20 please"
They still need to know all vehicle details.
