Hello everyone. Any ideas who is offering the best insurance deal at the moment? We're currently with Comfort and will soon be getting our renewal quote, which we're not looking forward to one bit!

Complete lottery! We normally see what our renewal is, and if it’s not ridiculous, give the provider a call, complain it’s too much, ask for their best price, and go from there. Otherwise, just start phoning round.

NFU because we live in the country and the office is just down the road in Beverley; they answer the phone!!!
Didn’t seem too expensive and hadn’t gone up by much on renewal last month. Can’t remember the annual renewal but it was approximately £600 for the year doing 15000 miles and with NCB protection.

Thanks for your responses. Went on two comparison sites and filled out the caravan and motorhome club application. The latter is no good to us as we need business use cover. The comparison sites came up with very little, and what there was came in at well over £500. So we have renewed with Comfort at less than £500, which seems to be in the ball park for price.

LV seems to come in at £633 if you can get the site when it works

Hi Van Maurice. I’m just about to renew with Comfort for our 4th year. They say that as the policy is “new for old” I must insure for the current full ( not discounted) list price. This takes the price to over £75 k which then requires a Thatcham S5 or S7 tracker. Like for like replacement value insurance doesn’ seem to be an option. Did you experience this issue please?

I’ve tried Comfort and Howdens both require a tracker
