I saw on here a few months ago a fitting instruction on how to integrate the wireless charger with the head unit - I many having to dismantle the dash to get the sub upgrade fitted and thought I would do the install at the same time but I can't find the post

Also does anyone know which wires got where - I have it working just on an off with the ignition bit the think there is an integrated feed for the head

Following with interest. Where does the wireless charger sit?

I went to the dealers and got the plastic surround I think there is two bits which as you can see you transfer all the bits from the old to the new and the charger is a standard one across the VW range mine is from a Seat ( all the part numbers are the same)

Nice :thumb
Haven't got my van yet but this was something I wanted to achieve.
Is it big enough to take a larger phone? i.e. iPhone Pro Max

I have an iPhone 14pro max in an otter box symmetry case and that fits I would take a picture but I can't can I .........

Hi
I have VW 5NA 980 611 with wired connector pins 1,2 & 4 available which probably available for around 40GBP plus postage should it be of any interest to you

getting it our or putting it in
Putting it in
I cut the old trim to get it out, thinking it would just push back into the new trim….. but no :(

Does the black collar come away from the socket to install in two pieces? …..and if so how do you separate them?

It’s the prongs on the inside that holds it on

Thanks, I see now.....did you manage to remove it without the T40148 removal tool? (which I've only just become aware of :headbang ).
