Intro - our 1st trip experience

Hello got our GC600 in Oct and was looking forward to take it down to our beautiful south island And as we got off the ferry a warning message on the dash board OIL PRESSURE STOP
check the oil gauge - levels ok and continue our journey of 7 hrs drive. Stop at a park and next morning same message Error. So rang up VW road assistance and was told that we should not drive our GC600 and wait to be towed to nearest VW workshop. To cut the story short we were given a 5 days of accomodation and a car to drive. The GC problem was a faulty oil pressure sensor which parts had to come from Germany but fortunately they found one in our North Island and had to be courier over.
Was a disappointment but at least a free 5 days accomodation and travelling provided
GC600 was comfortable to drive and good size for both of us. And we had done a 2200km on this trip
some beautiful scenes from our South Island
PS anyone having this Oil Pressure problem? -it had only done 200km - wouldn’t expected this to happen

Is possible not even Vw oil piece which is fail. Vw same than many car makers buying pieces from many " invisible makers of pieces " and puts together and is eventual a vehicle appearing.

Under outside metal sheets and inside plastic /. wood / leather sheets is many pieces all comes from companies which is make such pieces.

You can see many same technologies different brand cars - is because makers buy such pieces and make together comes a Grand California and many other vehicle also.

Must blaming factory who is make this oil detecter!
