Sorry can’t help. Thought you were referring to the Factory fitted inverter in the base of the B pillar by the kitchen.
Suggest you Google the manufacturer of that unit.

Could be a wiring connection and the spring is a protection for the wire as the other end looks like a broken soldered wiring connection.

I googled that inverter model and in the specification it does mention a wireless remote control.
My money says it is the antenna for the wireless remote.

As WelshGas says, it looks like the soldered wire to it has broken.
There is probably a nut rattling around inside the inverter as well which secures the antenna to the case from inside.
