Hi all.
Asking some help to find why i have just have 12v to charge my leisures batteries?
Engine on i have 14v in the motor battery but when check how much i have before the relay it s just 12v..

I have brushed the conection on the conection from engine battery i have improved about 0.1v....
I have checked my fused they are ok.
The relay in the drawer has been in changed last year. I have checked below fridge area without seeing anormal conection or the plate fuse brocken..

If anybody got the same issue and having the solution i would be crazy to know why amd how solve it.

Thanks in advance
Romain

Have you checked what voltage the charger is receiving? And what voltage the leisure battery is receiving?

If you have a good Multimeter try checking the resistances with ignition off.
Aux battery earth/negative to the chassis and engine block.
Aux battery positive to relay.
You should get low resistance readings, a few ohms at most.

A case of trying to find where the voltage drops. Earth may be the cause as much as the positive side.
Wiring and components (relays) get tired over time. Especially non solid state relays.

When trying to trace similar problems on car electrics I usually substitute a wire/cable temporarily which has shown up a faulty connection/wire that was visually OK.

Hopefully yuo'll get a 100% fix from someone.
