I think I heard somewhere the LED headlights do not require any of the convertor stickers for driving abroad. Is this correct?

TIA.

I believe that is correct, there is no adjustment via the vehicle settings & the beam is almost flat with only a small kick up in pattern to the left.

I’ve been in Europe for nearly a week and had no flashes from other drivers or interactions with the police.

Just a spare bulb collection I guess for any other lamps that fail.

I'm sure in vehicle settings the beam can be adjusted for European use

Apparently it doesn’t need to as it’s a flat beam and not directional according to VWCC

That may well be the case on your T6 ocean but certainly isn't on a T6.1 Ocean
Which is all pretty irrelevant as the Question is about a New Grand California.

Other Vag vehicles use the GPS position to adjust the headlight position
(flatten the beam)
in the absence of ant adjustment on T6.1 / Grand I would assume the same applies. (Or the beam is sufficiently flat without any auto adjustment)

The beam is flat enough to not need it for holidaying. But not flat enough if importing to some countries. The dipped beam lamp is a different part no between LHD & RHD vehicles.

Oh, ok then. Silly me
