Hi, hopefully someone has seen this and knows what to do.

On the overhead control panel my leisure battery is showing 10 bars of charge but zero hours of life. The lights, fridge and heater are working so I'm guessing that its a software glitch. Any ideas of why this might be happening and what needs to be done to fix it?

Thanks

1. The Calculation for the Hours is iffy and not to be relied upon. The Voltage is more important.
2. You could do a Control Panel reset by removing fuses 5,6 7 & 8 as per in this thread and @Loz s post.
3. Failing the above unplug the Battery Module lead attached to the Black -tve pole on each Leisure Battery. Don't remove the module just unplug the 2 wire connector plug. Wait 30 mins and reconnect.

I have a 2020 T6.1. I experienced these problems not long after I bought the van and met two others with the same problems. Cut a long story short and grace of someone who wrote in this forum the solution turned out to be a resistor which is connected to the auxiliary battery. There was a problem in the manufacturing process which VW did not tell the dealers about so as I said earlier, grace of this forum the solution was easy for the garage to fix. Do not delay the repair because it was my experience that you will have more and more issues with the auxiliary system. Since the repair was carried out, under warranty , I have had no further issues with the auxiliary system.
