Hi if I charge the starter battery with a trickle charge will this also charge the leisure battery?
If not how are people charging the leisure battery at home?
Thanks

No.

Plug your Cali in using the supplied convertor to three pin.

If you drive your Cali regularly there is no need.

Just replacing both leisure batteries. Question: Should I put them in now baring in mind the camper side of the van won't be used until next spring?....Or Keep old ones in, and put the new ones in then?

I would top up the charge on both of them and then install them. They also run the coil and fan for the parking heater, which could come in handy in winter even if you're not camping

Hi, what is this supplied converter to three pin you mention pls? I am in a similar situation to Paul McKay but don't have the luxury of being able to drive it long distances to recharge it every month. My Beach has no three PIN plugs in it, and when purchasing used approved it didnt come with any converters

Not sure what you got used but in the boot of most Cali’s is a short plug that allows you to plug your hook up cable to a mains supply. It is generally a EU plug, so you may need to buy a three pin one, which cost about a fiver. Google is your friend but they look like this:
