Is it possible to use a 3 pin EV granny charger with an adaptor to plug into the EHU socket?

There seem to be leads from type 2 to EHU (CEE?).

Just wondering if anyone has any insight or experience of this?

Not entirely sure what you are asking or trying to achieve perhaps you could explain further,, but generally I think the answer will be no.

Yes, fair point.

I have a 3 PIN (domestic plug) EV car charger. And an outdoor socket on the drive.

Rather than flipping the leads out at the socket I was wonder whether their is an adapter to convert a Type 2 plug (for the EV), into an EHU plug, which could then charger the leisure batteries when standing.

I’ve got CTEK trickle chargers inside the garage, but a van won’t fit.

Is there a way to edit posts after posting. I type on my phone and tons of autocorrect errors & typos which annoy me!

Your home EV charging cable is not the same as your Campervan EHU cable.
Does your EV cable have a box along its length. If so, that is a transformer converting from 230v mains voltage to 50v or so, to charge the vehicle. It will be of no use to plug into the Campervan.

Why not convert the wall socket to a double socket and plug the Campervan cable into that.

Thanks a million. I did doubt it. Just a random thought I had while parking this afternoon.

I have an AA solar trickle charger. Not used it in anger.

Wondering how effective it will be facing south at 45 degrees over the British winter?

This is possible and in Winter I absolutely love having the ability to charge at AC EV chargers! I have this adaptor (bought in Switzerland):

The OP wanted an adapter so he could plug his EV charging cable into his California. Your adapter converts a Type 2 EV charger socket to a domestic socket into which you can plug a normal EHU lead fitted with a domestic plug.

Still worth sharing a solution that works for me no? He did "like" my post so indicates this is the case.

True, but it is a solution to a different problem.
How do you plug a Campervan EHU lead into a Type 2 EV charger ? v How do you plug a Type 2 EV charger lead into a Campervan ?

Rather than being so rigid and not responding at all I felt that sharing a working solution, although slightly different, could be a potential option he hadn't thought of or worded correctly in his question.
