Longest journey without using the pedals

Yesterday we did 74 miles without touching the accelerator or brake pedal,you gotta love ACC

If only the van could steer it self I could nip in the back for a cuppa.

Driven from Junction 33 M4 eastwards to the M4/M25 junction on normal Cruise Control, about 130+ miles at least. I did use the indicators and dropped Cruise to 50 for some road works.
It was at 3am.

100% agreement - the ‘pedal free drive’ should not be underestimated... I drove from Calais to Munich in one go and the drive was a lot easier because of it...

I took the train to go and collect my Alfie.

Train 1: South coast to London. Delayed due to signal works. arrived 40 minutes late.

Dash across London to Euston for train 2: London to Birmingham. I had to get the train running an hour after my planned train due to delays with train 1. Train 2 arrived in Birmingham 24 minutes late.

Now, instead of getting the 1442 to Droitwich I am getting the 1642. It is rush hour, something I had deliberately planned on avoiding. Train 3 was a sardine tin on rails: a most uncomfortable trip.
