Hello,

May I ask for some help from people who have LPG installed on their camper or car and live in the greater Dublin area.

In 2021 we changed our GC 600 from bottle propane to LPG. I am not so crazy about gas, but LPG can help a lot to make life easier.

At the time the next LPG filling station was in Clanard, Co. Meath. A good bit away, but easy to get there. Unfortunately they closed the LPG station. The next LPG station is in Naas. Almost the same distance, but it is not so easy to get there. The Naas LPG station is 100% OK for the GC, but might be too small for my new Hymer. Another one is in Tallaght, which is km wise closer, but I have to use the M50 to get there. And the M50 is always very busy.

As you can imagine by now my question is if you know a good LPG filling station in the greater Dublin area (preferably towards Maynooth, Enfield). I was also wondering if it has to be a LPG filling station, maybe there is a Calor or Flogas.

In the new Hymer we have an absorber fridge which will use gas most of the time and going into the colder season of the year we need a wee bit of gas for heating. Therefore there will be more trips to fill the 2x 11 KG bottles.

Any use?

Hello @WelshGas ,

Thank you for the URL. There are a view webpages listing LPG filling stations, but I was hoping to find some different places.

I visited almost all of those places around Dublin. They are either difficult to get to or not ideal in other ways.

Regards
Eberhard
